• I am not disqualified from managing corporations under Section 206B(1) of the Corporations Act 2001.
• In the last five years, I have not been convicted of, or released from prison after serving a sentence for, any criminal offences outlined in Section 32(1)(c) or (d) of the Business Names Registration Act 2011.
• This application complies with the requirements of the ASIC Electronic Lodgement Protocol.
• I understand the most suitable business structure for my needs (e.g., Individual/Sole Trader).
• I have the necessary identification details for all key individuals associated with my business, including Tax File Number (TFN), date of birth, and full name OR full name, residential address, and date of birth.
• I am not applying for an ABN solely because an employer or other party has requested it as a condition of employment.
• My business meets or will meet key characteristics of an enterprise, such as:
  • Sourcing my own clients/customers
  • Having the ability to delegate work if I choose
  • Issuing invoices for services and setting my own rates
  • Maintaining a separate business bank account
  • Taking responsibility for my own public liability, professional indemnity, and/or workers' compensation/income protection insurance
• I can provide supporting documentation to justify my entitlement to an ABN if requested.
• I acknowledge that providing false or misleading information in an ABN application may result in penalties of up to $12,600 per offence.
